We would be delighted to hear from anyone who would like to take part in the Steamboat Tavern’s Folk at the Boat but before you get in touch please read this page first.

Folk at the Boat is based around a pub, so we are unable to take bookings from merchandising stalls that need a lot of space to operate, including catering stalls. However, we can accommodate small merchandising stalls that will comfortably fit onto a pub table.

We currently run on a limited budget. Whilst we are able to pay reasonable travel expenses and to provide free refreshments to performers, sadly we can’t afford lots of paid bookings. If you’re happy to play in return for publicity, experience, exposure and a few pints, then please get in touch!

We intend to continue our tradition of having Morris dancers at lunchtime. We would love to see some new sides who haven’t danced with us before, as well as our old friends who we hope will join us again.
